Ticket Options and Prices



There are a number of ticket options available and if you haven't been before, they are explained below. The cheapest way to enjoy the amazing WRC action is to purchase in advance as on the day prices are higher. All tickets offer free car parking at the stages with the exception of Tir Prince where an additional car parking fee (cash only, paid on arrival) may apply. For overnight parking charges, see below.


The premier 4-day World Rally Pass provides access to all the stages of the rally, including Thursday's pre-event Shakedown and Saturday's RallyFest stage at Cholmondeley Castle. The World Rally Pass offers dedicated on-site parking at the Deeside Rally Village (subject to availability), free parking at Tir Prince on Thursday evening and free overnight car parking in the stage car parks. It includes a copy of the Official Programme (value: £9).

World Rally Pass holders can include Rally Xtra @ Cholmondeley Castle on Saturday for just £105. Simply purchase World Rally Pass Xtra @ Cholmondeley Castle. (see Rally Xtra details below). Please note, World Rally Pass Xtra @ Sweet Lamb is now sold out.

To truly upgrade your experience you can include BOTH Rally Xtra venues by purchasing a World Rally Pass Ultra for £319 per adult. NOW SOLD OUT

DAY PASS - £28

Day Passes are available for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, giving access to all the stages on a given day which allows you to visit more than one stage. They can only be purchased in advance or from the Deeside Rally Village and include a copy to the Official Programme (value: £9).

VISIT CONWY TIR PRINCE - £10 in advance / £15 on the night

A spectacular new special stage to open the event on Thursday evening, complete with jump and donut. In addition to the thrilling stage there will be a full evening of entertainment with autograph sessions, interviews, commentary, big screens, dedicated trackside viewing areas, catering, a funfair, merchandise shopping and much more.

The Visit Conwy Tir Prince ticket does not include an Official Programme and an additional car parking fee (cash only, paid on arrival) may apply.

TOYOTA RALLYFEST AT CHOLMONDELEY CASTLE - £23 in advance / £30 on the day

Designed as an easily-accessible, family-friendly day out, the action-packed Toyota RallyFest in the beautiful parkland grounds of Cholmondeley Castle has something for all ages. This reduced price ticket offers a full day of entertainment, including displays, attractions, catering village and giant screens. It includes free car parking and a copy of the Official Programme (value: £9).

Hospitality is available at Cholmondeley Castle (see Rally Xtra details below).

RALLY XTRA @ SWEET LAMB - £120 (adult) / £90 (child aged 6-15) NOW SOLD OUT

The authentic rally experience! The action centres on the Sweet Lamb Rally Complex in the heart of mid-Wales, between Aberystwyth and Newtown. This purpose-made arena attracts huge crowds, drawn by the fantastic viewing opportunities that include a water splash and spectacular jumps. The sheltered facility is located just metres from the action.

World Rally Pass buyers can include this option for an additional £65 by purchasing the World Rally Pass Xtra @ Sweet Lamb for £164.

Children aged 6 - 15 years will require a ticket, now available for £90 (£75+VAT) per child with children aged 5 and under going free.

RALLY XTRA @ CHOLMONDELEY CASTLE - £160 (adult) / £120 (child aged 6-15) *New for 2017*

An off-road garden party! Cholmondeley Castle provides the stunning backdrop to the family-friendly RallyFest as the rally returns to Cheshire. Easily accessible, the fun-filled entertainment and displays will last throughout the day, with the Rally Xtra marquee located adjacent to the Dayinsure Donut for the best views of the action.

World Rally Pass buyers can include this option for an additional £105 by purchasing the World Rally Pass Xtra @ Cholmondeley Castle for £204.

Children aged 6 - 15 years will require a ticket, now available for £120 (£100+VAT) per child with children aged 5 and under going free.


Individual stage tickets can be purchased on the day of the event, subject to availability, giving access to just one stage. These tickets do not allow entry to more than one stage. On the day tickets are cash only, as facilities do not exist to take other forms of payment. Each adult ticket (with the exception of Tir Prince) includes a copy of the Official Programme (value: £9).


Overnight Parking

Some car parks will open the day before the stage runs and will remain open overnight. In order to cover the costs of safety, security and lighting, a charge of £10 will be made for each car and £20 for each motorhome or camper van. Details of which car parks are open overnight will be available nearer to the event.

Booking Fees

If you have been to the rally before, you may notice that this year, in response to customer feedback, we have included all booking fees, transaction fees and electronic delivery fees in the listed ticket prices. We hope that this provides greater clarity for our visitors. Tickets that are posted out in hard copy (orders including World Rally Passes and/or either Rally Xtra venue) will incur a £4 postage fee per transaction.

When and where does the Rally take place?

Thursday 26th - Sunday 29th October based in north Wales and Cheshire with many of the venues easily accessible from England.

What's the difference between the days - Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday?

Each day features action in different areas.
Shakedown (the final prep for the cars) and the new Visit Conwy Special Stage at Tir Prince happen on Thursday, both based in north Wales.
Friday is all based around the Llanidloes / Aberystwyth area.
On Saturday it's concentrated in the Snowdonia region.
Sunday's action takes place near the Brenig and Alwen reservoirs with the Finish back in Llandudno.

What would I see?

The world's best cars and drivers on the limit, as well as a whole field of more than 100 rally cars. You will typically see approximately 200 cars in competitive action at any one place during the day.

How long does it last?

The action can last all day, but you are able to leave at any time. The WRC cars come through at 2 minute intervals and do most stages twice, while a separate National Rally will visit many of the stages too, so you will see lots of action.

Which stage is best for children?

All children under 16 go free (excluding Rally Xtra venues @ Sweet Lamb and/or Cholmondeley Castle), making this a great half-term event. The Toyota RallyFest at Cholmondeley Castle is an obvious choice for families, as it offers all-day entertainment, attractions, displays, parades, big screen and catering village.

What is the Rally Village?

Located in Deeside, the Rally Village is where all the competing crews are based - in motor racing terms, it's the event's buzzing pits and paddock complex. Admission is free and fans of all ages can watch as the teams prepare their cars for the action in the fearsome forests. There's lots more to enjoy in the Rally Village too, with driver interviews, food outlets, trade stalls and a funfair.
